Appointment Cancellation Policy for Private Patients & Membership Plan Patients

At Greenfield Dental Care, we strive to provide timely, high-quality care to all our patients. When you book an appointment with us, you are reserving time in our schedule that becomes unavailable to others. To respect the time of all our patients and team members, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or re-arrange your appointment.

Appointment Late Attendance Policy

If you are more than 5 minutes late, we may not be able to see you and your appointment may need to be rescheduled. In such cases, a £25 late cancellation fee may apply.

Cancellation with Less Than 24 Hours’ Notice Policy

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are considered short-notice cancellations and are subject to a £25 fee.

No-Show (Failing to Attend Without Notice) Policy

A “no-show” occurs when a patient misses their appointment without notifying us.

• Pay As You Go Patients: A £40 missed appointment fee will apply.
• Membership Plan Patients: You may choose one of the following:
  • • • Pay a £25 missed appointment fee to rebook your appointment sooner.
      • Wait until your next routine appointment (e.g., 3 months later) without a charge.

Advance Payment & Deposit Policy

To secure your booking:

• Full payment is required in advance for all examinations, hygiene, and emergency appointments.
• A £50 deposit is required for all individual treatment appointments, which will be deducted from the final balance.
• 50% payment is required when booking a root canal therapy appointment
• If you cancel with short notice or fail to attend, cancellation fees will be deducted from any prepayment or deposit.

Emergency Cancellations

We understand that emergencies can happen. In the case of a genuine, unavoidable emergency, cancellation fees may be waived or credited toward a future appointment, at the discretion of the practice.
